304

The standard "18-8" stainless steel. It offers good tensile strength and basic wear resistance, making it suitable for conventional onshore drilling and low-corrosive water-based mud environments. It serves as an economic choice for standard solids control operations.

304L

A low-carbon version of 304. The lower carbon content provides better wire flexibility for precision weaving and significantly improves welding characteristics when bonding the mesh to screen frames or backings, effectively preventing premature joint cracking under intense mechanical vibration.

316

Molybdenum-bearing stainless steel that offers superior resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion from high-salinity drilling fluids, brines, and corrosive oil-based muds. It features high fatigue strength under continuous cyclic stress, making it ideal for demanding drilling conditions and offshore applications.

316L

The premium grade for high-performance shaker screens. It combines the excellent corrosion resistance of 316 with the advantages of low carbon. It provides optimal wire flexibility and eliminates the risk of intergranular corrosion after welding, ensuring the longest operational screen life under harsh, high-vibration, and highly corrosive conditions.
